April is C-sec awareness month & had to undergo an emergency C-sec & Ofcourse the recovery wasn’t so easy but these 5 movement TIPS really helped me in my post ..!

🌸 step-by-step, guide of exactly how to get out bed after C- section delivery

1. Once you’re ready to get up, bend your knees, shuffle your shoulders AWAY from the side you plan to get up out of! Get your legs close to edge, body should be in a diagonal.
2. With one swift motion, use your opposite arm & use your upper body strength to roll to your side. Hold for a sec !
3. Once you’re ready,use your upper body to push off & come to a seated position on the side of the bed. Use your arms to ensure vour knees are close to the bed as much as possible.
4. Once you’re ready, lean forward from your hips, nose over toes & push with your hands to stand!
If the height of your bed is particularly high, use a step stool for sometime!
