Home Actress Rachel Hollis HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers September 2023 Rachel Hollis Instagram - At the beginning of this year Jeffrey was attacked by 3 big dogs. This is not something I knew could even happen to a dog in his own yard, but they got ahold of his neck and pulled him through the fence. It was horrific. They ripped out his throat, tearing everything but the single artery that kept him alive long enough to get into surgery. The doctors told us over and over that it was a miracle he lived— I have pictures of his wounds you wouldn’t believe any living creature could sustain. He had to go through months of healing and surgery after surgery but 8 months later he still here. He moves a little slower, gets a little more anxious—but he’s still here. I think our angels knew we couldn’t handle losing him too. I wanted to share because 1. I’m so grateful to the team @austin_vet and I want to give them a shout out publicly. Jeff would not be alive without months and months of dedication by their incredible staff. 2. I keep hearing stories about smaller dogs getting attacked in places where their humans thought they were safe. At home, at dog parks, at doggy day care… not because some dogs are evil or bad but because all dogs are animals and sometimes they act like animals. This isn’t something I was ever aware of until Jeffrey got hurt and I thought maybe sharing the story would help some of you to be conscious of it when you’re out with your fur baby. 🤟🏻
