Rukmini Vijayakumar Instagram – I saw this on a training video online and wanted to teach Kong to jump through my looped arms. I forget where I saw it, but her progression was a little different, I had to adapt to make sure Kong understood what I was asking of him. Kong learned to jump over my arm really quickly, but when I put the other arm on top, he would get confused. So I got a hula hoop and he learned to jump through that quite easily. Today I just threw in that second arm and made a hoop and he jumped through it ♥️ Second time didn’t work so well… 🤣 but now that he has it, I know that he will remember and do it again when he’s not tired. I’ve been very present with Kong’s walking, training etc. but I do half of it. The other half @santhosh_powerstar helps me with. Especially when I travel etc, he keeps it going and makes sure that Kong doesn’t become reactive again.
