‘Underneath’ is a great new song by @janneschra and follow up of two musicvideos I’ve made with Janne : (Little Bamboo (PONZO ’15) and OK (OK’18). This time we didn’t want to it to be fiction. We wanted to be by ourselves as ourselves, just the two of us, no crew. So we filmed eachother, in a friends cabin in the woods. And when there’s attention, space and love, things that hide beneath the surface can find their way out. ‘Underneath will reveal…’ Sometimes we manage to not fight our old pain with that system called selfprotection and we look it straight in the eye… in the safe company of someone who cares about you. ❤️please touch screen for full size video image❤️

De antiglamour van Theatergroep Hollandia, waar Jeroen destijds bij speelde, sprak haar als twaalfjarige al aan. De succesvolle actrice, die ook in Amerikaanse producties speelt en vorig jaar een Gouden Kalf ontving voor haar rol in de film Narcosis, beweegt nu meer naar de maakkant. Thekla wil verhalen vertellen die een voedzaam karakter hebben; onderwerpen die ons te midden van alle mondiale crises op weg helpen naar een betere wereld. ‘Als verhalenverteller heb je een grote verantwoordelijkheid. Maar het is altijd binnen de beperking van wie je zelf bent.
