Zara McDermott Instagram – OVER & OUT!š„āØš¤Summer, you have been special. This has been one of the biggest whirlwinds, but the most rewarding summers of my life. Filming a 4 part documentary in Ibiza and another one in the US⦠all in 8 weeks. My last 3 part series took 15 months, so that just gives you an idea of how much work has gone into this. Itās been really crazy, incredible, overwhelming at times but just so wonderful. Iāve met the most amazing contributors, but importantly Iāve made friends for life in the teams that Iāve worked with. Sometimes itās daunting; starting a new project and being away from home with people you have never met before, suddenly spending 16 hours a day togetherš But, somehow, you become like family within a few days. And then, when the project is over, itās so bittersweet. The credit truly needs to go to the AMAZING producers and directors that Iāve worked with. They work the hardest Iāve ever seen anyone work. When Iām exhausted and my brain not functioning anymore at 3am, they keep everything going, and continue to keep thinking of the most amazing ideas for every sequence. Yes, my name may be on the title of the documentary, but THEY are the backbone of it all. I also wish I had a lovely photo of all of us, but in the true spirit of TV, the last thing on our minds was a group pic š I hope I can be as good a director one day as the amazing ones Iāve worked with this summer. thank you all for being so understanding when I said, I need to finish filming because Iāve got a project coming up that I canāt talk about and itās a secret,(which now they know is Strictly!!!!)š. Now I am so ready to put everything into the world of dance⦠something that I never thought Iād be sayingā¦šš¼ā¤ļø Ibiza, Spain | Posted on 20/Aug/2023 20:26:55
