Zuri Adele Instagram – BIPOC Mental Health Awareness is a commitment to acknowledging, examining, and enhancing the mental health of those of us who have been historically underrepresented in its care and research while being systemically, overly exposed to the catalysts of its disorders.
My call for us is to choose rest as often as possible, as a means of sustaining our well-being, as a form of resistance to the micro and macro traumas we encounter throughout each day, and as a call to action on our allies to participate in shifting the systems. In our safe spaces, I encourage us to engage in dialogue about our mental health frequently. Let’s become fluent in living well.
