Amos Heller Instagram – Your friend and mine @travisvancemusic introduced me to the ripping album “Brain Pain” by the Boston band @fouryearstrong a few years back. The album is absolutely crushing and it kicks off with this White Whale of a tune-lyrical, melodic, unpredictable, haunting…and when it gets going IT GETS GOING.
I’ve been hacking at this tune on and off for a year or so, trying different basses, fingerings, phrasings and tunings, and I finally got it playable.
