Amos Heller Instagram – The day has come.
@metallica ‘s iconic thrash album “…And Justice For All” doesn’t have any bass on it. It’s not hard to explain why I love it so much in spite of this obvious shortcoming: I listened to it at blistering volume in my brother’s car on the way to high school almost every day of my freshman year.
I fell in love with metal, and it’s a huge part of why I learned to play music. My first band, my first recording experience, my first shows, my first aspirations to do music for the rest of my life-all metal. Very metal.
I’ve been returning to my roots this year, and getting back to this genre has been keeping my hands in shape for this tour. Nothing makes me practice like knowing my playing is going to be filmed and shared.
