Arifin Putra is an actor-turned-angel investor, who firmly believes in empowering social entrepreneurs to be impactful, sustainable and profitable in order to expedite the world’s transition to a circular economy. He has actively invested up and down the sustainable food value chain from food tech, e-grocer and alternative protein start-ups in the Asia Pacific Region.
Arifin first developed his interest in impact businesses, as he was working hand-in-hand with the Indonesian chapter of the World Wildlife Fund to raise awareness on various socio-environmental issues facing the nation for a number of years. Since then Arifin has passionately mentored a number of entrepreneurs and businesses in the Indonesian impact space.
He loves to travel and learn from new cultures both on and off the clock. Arifin is currently regularly traveling to Europe to fulfill his acting commitments and had an eye-opening experience hiking through the Nepalese North-Central mountain range of Langtang.
