The love, passion and dedication I saw & felt from the team was something that will stay with me forever. They work tirelessly, all year round, to protect this vital forest habitat for all the wildlife & plants that call it home and in turn, us.
WWF recently unveiled the groundbreaking Forest Pathways Report, looking at the health and current state of the worlds Forests.
It features a case study from the area I visited. The Atlantic Forest, a lush, rich, diverse tropical haven in South America, is in grave danger, with 76% of its original forest cover already lost.
Safe to say it doesn’t make for happy reading BUT it shows there is are pathways open to protecting and restoring our crucial forests & their eco systems around the world.
There’s time and there’s still hope. Together, we can bring our world back to life and change the world.
