Johnson IV Instagram – 🔁 @bobbie 💚 • Earlier this year, Bobbie For Change announced our partnership with @4kira4moms to establish the Maternal Mortality Response Team, which aims to provide resources, support, and essential items to families who’ve experienced the loss of a mother during childbirth.⁠ ⁠ Tragically, this program is now supporting 5 families.⁠ ⁠ Black mothers are still dying of pregnancy-related issues and complications at a rate 4x higher than white women.⁠ ⁠ So, what are we doing about it? And how can you help? Bobbie For Change has been lobbying to pass The Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act of 2021 (AKA The Momnibus), which is made up of 13 bills that comprehensively address the maternal health crisis in America.
