Colin O’Brady Instagram – 10 DAY SILENT MEDITATION RETREAT…Ready go! 10 days, no reading, no writing, no eye contact, complete solitude…12 hours a day of meditation. A true deep journey into the mind. It’s been a month since I returned from the darkness retreat, and it’s time to keep strengthening the mind. I have done several 10 day Vipassana meditation retreats over the past decade. It’s been one of the most life changing practices I’ve ever encountered. @jennabesaw will be there as well, six months pregnant, deeply communing with the spirit of our soon to be born child. (So I guess technically she won’t be in solitude 😉) I’m grateful for this opportunity to go deep as a family. Although we’ll be in full silence and solitude the entire time, having this experience in parallel at the same time will no doubt be powerful. Colin O’Brady Instagram – TRAGIC NEWS 💔 I woke up this morning to horrible news. My friend @mrdavehollis passed away at the much too young age of 47. From midnight hikes as he earned his Red Hat at 29029, to birthday ski trips, podcasts, and long FaceTime catch-ups during COVID lockdown, Dave was an amazing friend who always had my back. I’m shocked and deeply saddened by this news. There were many things that defined Dave’s greatness, but for anybody who knew him, his love for his four kids shined the brightest. My heart is with his family in this time of grief. The world is less bright today without you in it my friend. Rest in peace.
