I am truly humbled and appreciative of every one of you for joining me on this FutureNever journey. When my anxiety did not allow me perform live any longer, I was told by many senior people in the industry that my career was over. I refused to accept that that was my reality, so I built my own ecosystem with my visionary friends @bmgausnz
To be here today, with the exhibition doing so well that @rialtomelbourne has extended the run and sitting on a record that has not only become my first #1 solo record but also the longest charting Australian @aria_official Top 10 of 2022 is ALL thanks to you guys.
Thank you to @mattryan for the FrogWash inspiration, thank you to @ebflow for the impromptu laundry shoot at @barrattslaundry that set it all off, thank you to @fingerscrossed_creative for building the impossible Sud City and moving it on a truck from Newcastle to Melbourne, thank you @eddiezammit for making this dream a reality and finally thank you to @bmgausnz for empowering (and encouraging) me to turn my back on the traditional music industry and build a new one that works for me and not against me.
This signing is a thank you to everyone but also a chance for me to ‘smell the roses’, I did not want to sit in my house as my proudest achievement (the exhibition) rolled on without me properly immersing myself in it.
Today is a celebration.
