The newlyweds shared their dog adoption journey with The Spruce Pets: the quirks, the challenges, the love, and even coming to terms with one day having to say goodbye. “Honestly, if I could adopt every single dog in all the shelters, I would,” Hayley says. “That is actually my goal one of these days. I keep saying to Derek, I just want a farm, but I don’t want typical farm animals.
