According to a survey by Outsport , it is disheartening to see that more than half of transgender people have given up their favorite sport because of prejudice against their gender.
Sport is an important part of life, not only for physical fitness but also for mental well-being and the development of social relationships. But a survey by Sport England shows that 64% of our non-cycling colleagues don’t get enough exercise to stay healthy. Over 40% consciously avoid the gym, sports clubs and social play clubs.
The exclusionary practices prevalent in our society have a profound effect on the physical and mental health of transgender and non-binary people.

Echoing the words of pro-athlete @thechrismosier , such policies show a lack of confidence in the abilities of female athletes and ignore the body diversity of cisgender women, who like everyone else have their own height, weight, strength , speed and agility.
