Thank you to all the wonderful people who came to my holiday shows -both at @joespub and the @kikiandherb tour.

I’m so grateful to get to play with so many brilliant artists @kennymellman, @mattraymusic, @nathanncarrera, @bernicesbrooks, @mistermikejackson.

I’m going under the ivy for a bit now.

Justin Vivian Bond Instagram – I have been keeping my mouth shut about the horrific situation in the Middle East because the complexity of it has been overwhelming and I didn’t want to say the wrong thing. Sorry if it has seemed like I haven’t been paying attention. My heart has been breaking for the people of Israel and Gaza.

Today I read this post and it seemed to crystallize what I’ve been working towards in my head and heart and I’m so grateful to Layla F Saad for her thoughtful and empathetic post. I thought I would share it in case you haven’t had a chance to read it yourselves.

I am praying for peace and for our better angels to lead us out of this nightmare and prevent the slaughter of more innocent people.

I’m turning off the comments for this post because I really don’t have the bandwidth for any more venom.
