Justin Welby Instagram – Grateful to spend more time today with clergy, congregations and chaplains in @CofEPortsmouth – sharing stories of the difference that Jesus makes, and seeing how they love and serve their communities. Chaplains do such profoundly important work – often unseen – across the country. It was so good to see the work of prison chaplains at HMP Isle of Wight, and naval chaplains onboard HMS Victory. Please pray for them and those they serve. And I really appreciated visiting churches in Southsea – St Margaret’s and @StLukesSouthsea – to see how they are reaching out to their communities in creative ways, and offering people the opportunity to encounter the God who loves them.
