Looking forward to seeing the guys in the band at rehearsal in a few weeks. We haven’t been to Japan and Australia in a few years…What a great way to wrap up this years touring. Working a few songs that are starting to take shape. It’s a process. Some just flow and others you need to keep massaging until you get the kinks out. Been taking new ideas and applying differnt sets of new lyrics to see how it changes the melodies and obviously timing.This is the part of songwriting that is personal and private. Before you show anybody the idea and start the process of collaboration. It’s very relaxing because there is no pressure. The cream always rises to the top…..It’s great to not have a deadline. Hope your enjoying the fall. It’s one of the best times of year here in Wyoming. Picked up the new Sofort 2 Polaroid camera from @leica_camera today. This is gonna be a blast on the road. Not only are there cool presets inside the camera, it syncs to your phone to print or post. @leica_camera @leicacamerausa #documentyourlife Los Angeles
My creative director debut! I had the time of my life yesterday shooting the holiday cover with @genlux for @bouquetbox and @bouquetboxbar at @sherwoodcountryclubofficial (Bridesmaids was filmed here!) I had this ethereal vision inspired by my wedding flowers and Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette. I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing team… we had the best day (creatively) of my life! Made the flowers Sunday, brought special help from @marksgarden in to get the set looking perfect. I also enlisted help from my Dad, Bobby- the ultimate set designer. He built me boxes, we painted them, painted pots, I sewed curtains and we were off to the races. Felt like a little girl again getting to DIY with my Dad! Cannot wait to show you the shots!
