Ólafur Arnalds Instagram – For Now I Am Winter, 10th anniversary remaster – out November 24 I rarely take the time to look back but 10 years ago, For Now I Am Winter, marked a lot of firsts for me. First time writing with a vocalist (@arnordan ❤️), first album on a new label, first time writing for an orchestra. It was a really ambitious record for me that found a lot of new ears and was the seed of many ideas that have since become cornerstones in my life and music. 10 years is a long time, but still feels so very short. I was a different person then, but then again not really. The world certainly is different, but the ideas and emotion poured into this record feel unchanged. Spring still comes after winter. Remastered from stems on a clear 180 gr. vinyl, with a brand new artwork and 5 exclusive art prints. If you’re interested, you can pre-order it via the link in the bio. Ólafur Arnalds Instagram – In 2015 I played a one-off orchestral show at @sydneyoperahouse , conducted and arranged by @viktorarnason and visuals by @mani_sigfusson . It’s one of my favourite shows I’ve ever played (also might have been the last show I played in a dress shirt 🙃).
