Paul Nassif Instagram – ⚠️ Warning: Do Not Inject Filler Into Your Glabella!
Not only can it cause skin necrosis, which means the skin dies, but it can even cause blindness or other problems.
My patient, Linda, developed this big mass, which you can see in the video above. FDA approved filler doesn’t usually cause this type of reaction, so we didn’t exactly know what was going on until we went into the OR. By doing a modified Lynch procedure, where we made incisions on the sides of the nose and dissected out the mass of tissue, we figured out what it was. The tissue ended up being what we call a foreign body reaction. Her body created the mass because it didn’t accept whatever was injected into her face.
Here are Linda’s results after only 1-month, but they’ll continue to improve as swelling will decrease over the next three to four months!
If you would like to treat the glabella, @nassifmedical recommends using Botox or a laser treatment instead!
