An apology letter to Thomas and his family

Hello,
My name is Tyler. I am a content creator for a podcast called Brosbond.
You may have received numerous comments or messages implying that we have been tarnishing your reputation, attacking you, or spreading rumors about your family.
It was never my intention to harm you or your beautiful family.
I would like to explain what happened; please excuse any errors in my English, as it is not my first language.
What happened was that I read an internet news article based on only a few seconds of one of your videos. ( Thomas was in Disneyland, first few seconds of him with Moana)
I am truly, truly sorry for believing in that internet news without verifying it first.
The news turned out to be fake and misleading; it was edited and embellished with fabricated information. It implies that Moana was touched on her breasts, which by only the first few seconds of the video I saw, it did seem that way.
The article also implies that Moana decides to press charges against the kid, and continues with some more wrong and fake information.
After I read the article, I came up with a question, then I talked about it on one of our episodes.
The topic was a hypothetical question that I came up based on “the fake news” I saw.
I did not associate Thomas with the question, and honestly I didn’t know who Thomas was because in the edited clip, the boy was blurred.
The initial intention of the question was to sparkle some different perspectives on understandably difficult questions.
I should have double-checked the source of the news. I sincerely apologize for all the trouble and discomfort I have caused your family.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to make amends for my ignorance and mistakes.
I can’t imagine how much pain my insensitive behavior would bring to your family. I am truly sorry.
