The very first Jeff Beck album I bought was “Blow by Blow.” Then “Jeff Beck’s Guitar Workshop”.. and then “Who Else!” After listening to your playing there’s no going back. Every song you play has the germination effect. I watched all the videos of your performance I could find on YouTube. You really were the master and the alchemist of your craft. Your playing style was “un-copyable” but always filled with inspiration for new possibilities. I was shocked to find out you’ve passed on but amazed to find out you were 78 years old. Maybe because of your light-spirited nature (and also possibly your productivity) I thought you were much younger.
