Alessia Cara Instagram – 2 years of In The Meantime! this one is special, since the album is completely framed by duality. light and dark, good and bad, day and night, happy and sad. now two full years around the sun. here are some little bits from creating it—drafting up lyrics, playing with the title, shooting the cover, getting cute themed nails, filming the best days video, my view from the entrance of @orangeloungeto everyday that winter, driving to a Montreal studio covid bubble with @livaita to finish it, and the last slide, which is the first inkling of the cover art I dreamt up one afternoon in my kitchen (lol). couldn’t be more grateful for the army it took to make this thing real and for every memory formed from it. lots of tears and lots of laughs. happy 2, ITM 🧡💙
