(Also just so happens to be our lucky numbers smashed together (whaaat)?!) 5 years ago we stood under an oak tree and promised to forever be each other’s person. It was the easiest promise to keep I’ve ever made. It’s been a challenging 5 years, to say the least- the most trying, demanding, testing, strenuous, burdensome…But also the most beautiful, truly beautiful, of my life. Because I have you. And our Hayes. Because we have each other. And the truth is, I would take the last few years of a shitstorm with you by my side and in my arms over some of the “best”, easiest years of my life without you. Hands down. Any. Day.
