An incredible artist and a true friend to Amy. Rest in peace, Tony Bennett.
Tony was always a source of inspiration to Amy, and their connection was made even more special when he was the one to announce Amy’s ‘Record of the Year’ GRAMMY Award in 2008, and then culminating in 2011 with the beautiful “Body and Soul”; a gorgeous and sentimental duet with her personal hero. We send all our love and condolences to Tony’s family and friends. 🖤
“I wasn’t shocked because I won the GRAMMY, but because Tony Bennett has said my name!” – Amy Winehouse.

Amy had a deep love and appreciation for hip-hop, and just as she got to collaborate with her jazz heroes, so too did Amy get to meet and work with several hip-hop icons that recognised her love and passion for the genre. This genius shines through in this amazing duet version of ‘Love is a Losing Game’ performed with Mos Def at MTV’s 45th at Night in New York🖤

Not just sharing a birthday, Nas and Amy had a close friendship and shared a deep connection rooted for their love for each-other’s music, with Amy famously sampling Nas for “In My Bed” from ‘Frank’. Nas returned the favour with, ‘Cherry Wine’, released in honour of Amy. That’s also Amy playing the guitar on the track! 🍒🤍
“Amy and I share a birthday, so she was my sister. And she was just so much fun to be around.” – Nas
We always love hearing Amy’s voice 🖤

Amy at her sardonic best, being interviewed by her good friend Simon Amstell. Backstage before her performance at V festival in 2004 🤍
Amy always brought a sense of humour to her shows alongside the power of her voice. Her stage presence was strong and infectious.
