Angela Lindvall Instagram – Random Thought: I never did Facebook. Although I regret it, because it was a great way to stay in touch with family and see photographs. I got onto Instagram a little bit late, but I found it to be a fun way to share. But now, it’s a whole different story. It seems like it’s a job now. If you’re not doing it, it works against you. Everybody’s trying to sell something now. Everyone’s trying to fit into the algorithms. Trying to get an audience and likes. If you don’t post enough, then your information gets shared with less and less people.
It’s just interesting to me. We are all looking to be seen and heard. We all want to be recognized. But what happened to just authentic sharing? Why is everything about selling something and getting attention? About how many people are following you? One thing to remember that being an influencer doesn’t mean how many people are following you.
In what ways are you influencing the people in your lives? Your small community? You can have a huge impact in so many ways. It doesn’t have to be some huge accolade. Just be accountable for your actions and your words. Be aware of how you affect other people. How you can help other people. How you can influence other people. Anyways, that’s all I have to say.
