Shawn is home! Home with us and recovering ❤️🩹 This was the hardest and worst week ever…One week ago, Wednesday evening we went to the ER because Shawn had extreme stomach pain that wouldn’t stop and kept worsening. Hours of waiting lead to them finally diagnosing him with appendicitis (I had assumed this hours before but we were hoping it was food poisoning). They decided they needed to do surgery the next day and in the meantime kept pumping him full of antibiotics and pain meds (which did nothing the first day!) They then kept pushing his surgery back and as the time passed, his pain and swelling got worse and worse. They finally went in and his appendix had perforated just as they were starting to remove it! Once in recovery, there were some minor issues that are too gross to mention…then on the other side of surgery, there were SO many things that kept happening to make this a lot more challenging (and painful) than the average appendectomy. His organs were “dormant” and wouldn’t wake up and function properly…his belly bloated up so badly, causing even more pain, he couldn’t even keep water down without painfully vomiting because of extreme heartburn. It was so hard to see Shawn like this and to leave him there…Grey and I went to visit every day, twice a day. It was hard to find help as everyone has their usual routines and responsibilities, but Grey was a model visitor and the nurses all looked forward to seeing him. They were amazing. A time we were able to get help, and we are so grateful. @ghoulygrrrl and her family took care of Grey for one of the days when I needed to work a modeling (that’s a whole other ball of stress I’ll get into later!) They took him into their home and gave him so much love! Well…I meant to make this short…just so fucking grateful that my love is healing and getting better each day. With that, my anxiety is slowly starting to relax a bit…and one more thanks to all of our friends and family who texted every day! We love you 🖤 And to my lovely clients, I will get you on my books ASAP! (Last 2 photos are from today! We all got out for a slow walk on this beautiful day and had some vegan ice cream)

Hey, @gingerleevalentine ! Here’s my overnight heatless curls! More of a wave as I did them a little loose, but gotta love that body! . . . #heatlesscurls #bouncyhair #silverhaircolor #greyhaircolor #hairtutorials #greyhairmodel #silversister #heatlesscurlsovernight #bighairgoals
In the midst of the most stressful and scary weeks of our lives, I had a job that I had to work. I am grateful for the work and BEYOND grateful for my amazing agents @jasminenicoles.js and @ddparker for working miracles to work it out, however, it was extremely difficult to be “on” and focused on the task and hand. But I knew Shawn and Grey were both in good hands, so I just did it! These are the only photos I have from behind the scenes. Looks like jammies! I did my hair and makeup for the shoot. The treat was small yet very supportive and we even hugged at the end! . . . #workingmodel #maturemodel #greyhairmodel #silverfox #silverhairmodel #bluesteel #highseas #costamesa

It’s hard to believe our little Wolf is 3 today! He’s the most amazing human I’ve ever known! What else would I say as his mama! Truly though, Grey amazes us every day. For his birthday, he wanted black balloons (he’s so our kid!) we also got fries and vegan ice cream then played on our favorite grass hill, went to the pumpkin patch and rode the train, jumped on a bouncy pumpkin and so much more! Then I made a cake that didn’t turn out exactly as I had planned but actually wound up being perfect once I added all of my fun decorations! And Grey LOVED it 🥹🥲 There is so much more that I’d love to share! So many milestones and events that we’ve been through! We’re so proud of Grey! We’re so grateful to be his parents. Love you, my little Grey Wolf 🐺 🤍 . . . #3today #3yearold #threenager #boymamalife #birthdayboy🎂

Yesterday was an already busy (kind of overwhelming) day. Preschool drop off, in person callback/fitting, grocery shop, clean up at home, preschool pickup, snack time, hang time with Grey (picture posted yesterday 🥹), preschool parents meeting in the evening after dinner (that Grey fought eating 🙈) and then I got a selftape request in between! I decided I needed to just bang this out and make it happen! It was improv so I felt comfortable with minimal prep. I put Bluey on the tv while Grey had his snack and I got it done! Slate and scenes shot, edited and sent before we left for the meeting!! Here is a cute photo because LOOK AT HER IN ALL THAT COLOR 😅 (Reminder for those who are unaware and have asked before; this is for a commercial, nothing theatrical, so it is not a conflict with our current @sagaftra strike! I would NEVER!) And thanks always to the best agent, @_missnatalierose_ for keeping me busy and working so hard! It’s not just us actors who are suffering! But it’s so good to have an amazing, supportive team! . . . #commercialauditions #commercialactor #silverhaircolor #greyhaircolor #glowingskincare #flawlessfilter #cherryred #fallsweater #holidaycommercial
Self tape done! Here, as usual, bloopers! Of course, @mr.macready started chewing loudly on the door @_@ . . . #selftapes #actorslife #modelinglife #doingthework

Self tape bloopers! I did not book this but my friend actually did!!! Woohoo and congrats to her 🙌🏻 This scene takes place in the 1800s so I figured my Daisy Domergue costume was the perfect look for the character.
