Arvida Byström Instagram – Made a little lyrics video for siren eyes just cus I wanted to upload the version with more stings. @walterberge and @frdrkgrn for the production and the strings (the strings are from Fredrik’s ‘Pictures of Fields Without Fences’ which Siren Eyes magically fitted ontop of 💖) I wrote this song a couple years back when I had the urge to jump straight into a relationship with a woman that both felt like absolute bliss as well as total destruction. I’ve had a tendency to jump into the first period of relationships full force without stopping up to evaluate what’s really going on. I rendered these feelings through the sirens in the Odyssey, how Odysseus wanted to get close to the sirens, get close to their heavenly voices but without the risk of crashing the ship. Kind of how one can wish to get into a relationship and only keep all the good parts and skip the hurt. But it’s just not possible 💔❤️❤️‍🔥
