Christi Paul Instagram – An Israeli mother spoke with @cnn about her daughter who was kidnapped by Hamas militants.
Her daughter was later seen in video being held down on the back of a pickup truck & paraded through the streets as men were cheering & waving their guns.
For a moment, I literally stopped breathing.
I can’t stop crying.
This is a fellow mother.
A woman who held, fed, played with & raised a beautiful daughter who’s now at the mercy of a group of people who have no mercy.
It’s inhumane. Imagine the torture for these families wondering what their children, parents, friends etc are going through & whether they’re even alive.
Please pray for them.
Most of us are not animals.
Most of us value human lives.
It’s unfathomable to see & read about what some humans are capable of doing to each other.
Please!
Let’s be those humans who collectively pray, volunteer, donate, do whatever we can do where we are.
Inhumanity will only be conquered by those of us who believe that we, as humans, all matter & are valuable.
While we might feel helpless, I believe in the power of prayer. I believe in dignity & freedom & peace & I know so many of you do as well.
I pray that God’s presence in these places is still felt & so big & bold, that people being held feel enveloped by Him despite the horror they’re living.
Hamas members have used their God-given freedom of choice to choose evil.
I’m choosing humanity.
Let’s do this. Together.
