Em Haine Instagram – Today marks one month of living in an ashram at the foothills of the Himalayas, next to the holy Ganga river.
One month of sobriety. One month of yoga everyday following the moon cycle. One month of ritual chanting before sunrise, before every meal and after sunset. One month of cleansing, satkarma. One month of pranayama. One month of purifying tears flowing as mightily as the Ganga during monsoon season. One month of laughing with beautiful souls. One month of karma yoga- selfless service. One month of working with the land. One month of homemade vegetarian dals, paneer, curries, rotis and papayas. One healing ritual. One 101 degree fever. One bazzzillion itchy bug bites and counting.
