Emma Kimiläinen Instagram – A week ago, we danced a fierce tango, but tomorrow, our aim is to give a lot of positive energy and get people to smile! This week’s theme is “my story,” and I want to talk about the importance of dreaming throughout your whole life. Having a dream is the essence of motivation to achieve the targets of different levels moving towards that dream! I’m very lucky to say that my parents have never laughed at my dreams no matter how ambitious, but they’ve always believed in my capabilities to achieve any dream no matter how absurd. They’ve also guided me to the right path to be able to achieve my goals. Their supportive mindset is the reason why I’ve been able to speak about my dreams. And as no one is succeeding alone, it is essential to say out loud what you are dreaming about. Then, you can receive support to achieve it. 🙏 Dreaming is the key reason why I’ve been able to achieve my goals. As a little girl, I didn’t see anyone like me as a professional formula driver, quite the controversy. Stereotypes and prejudices against female drivers have lived strong for a very long time and are still present after more than 30 years of my career (although they have decreased considerably in recent years). But no matter what some people said, I never thought that I couldn’t become a professional racing driver. I was determined to become so good that I could make it, and I’ve been taught that there’s no certain way of doing things, but we can create our own way. I’ve seen many walls built ahead of my path and faced many setbacks along the way, but I’ve used my energy to solve that challenge and move forward.
