Georgie Barrat Instagram – Never easy discussing something like the Israel and Hamas conflict live on TV. It’s a nuanced and complicated debate where people on both sides are feeling fear, grief and complete dread. I was surprised and a little shocked though by some of the comments made by callers on today’s program. There was an undeniable antisemitic tone to their remarks, which was chilling to witness. It doesn’t matter where you stand on what’s happening, there is no place for antisemitism. Sending love to anyone who’s experienced this personally in the past week and of course my heart goes out to all the innocent lives that have been destroyed by this conflict.
