It’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month This is the Power and Control Wheel of Abuse that has always proven important for people to see, but most importantly for victims and survivors to see. Many people in abusive relationships, as bizarre as it may seem, often times do not even KNOW they are in an abusive relationship. (This is because the cycle of abuse is most likely something the victim has normalized, perhaps since childhood). This standard and guideline can be very useful for further understanding the dynamics at play.
