Jackie Cruz Instagram – 🎵✨ Since my debut album in 2019, I’ve embarked on an electrifying musical journey. Despite pandemic challenges and embracing motherhood, I found unexpected inspiration. Collaborating with producer José Carlos de la Parra Tonella led to a uniquely “me” sound, drawing from my Dominican Republic roots and Queens upbringing. 🌍🎶 Influences like African Dominican drum rhythms, bachata, jazz, disco, and salsa, combined with the allure of The Buttertones and Sade, weave my musical tapestry. 🎷❤️ The saxophone, a childhood love, became my cornerstone, echoing my uncle’s jazz legacy. 🎥✨ A three-part music video shares my new motherhood journey and nature connection.
