Janine Gateland Instagram – It’s taken me a month to write this heartbreaking news…. The love of my life, my baby, my soul mate Archie left me to go Home 4 weeks ago on 9/11. I was dreading the day he would leave me. Part of my heart broke into pieces, and I have been inconsolable. I have never felt pain like this before in my life EVER!
Archie taught me about unconditional love. We took on the world together, just me and my boy. He was by my side when I had cancer, he was there for me through all the rough times and all the happy times like performing in TV shows, commercials and films together and buying our first home.
He was a super star and played Lord Barkington in the TV show ‘Girl Chill’ which has won so many award. He played his debut in a commercial for Wild Earth and was in the shoot for ‘Girls Night In’.
Archie came into my life 4 ½ years ago and lived to a fine age of 17 1/2. He had a rough life before me with a terrible family that didn’t give him the love and attention he so needed. I am blessed he came into my life and although I feel robbed of time with him in the short time I knew him towards the end of his life, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have had him apart of my life.
Archie has now given me a gift that I am so ever grateful for. I am now on a new and exciting path that has been life changing with God.
Archie my love, I can’t wait to see you again at the Gates of Heaven. Until then, run and play over that rainbow bridge my love with your new two eyes and four strong legs. Grandma Doreen, grandad Bill and all the rest of our family, my beautiful friend Paul, all the family Fur babies, and Riley are waiting for you honey.
