It’s an old Japanese technique that was used for torture. Now it’s used in the BD$M world and others use it as a source of making arts.
Which is what I use it for.
It helped my balance, patience and built up my confidence and memory…
I remember my favorite was floor work. I’d sit there and meditate “as you can see me doing in the picture”
I remember my teacher and other student would put their water glasses on my table. Others may think I’d be called a slave. But I felt, it was me that was holding their life, by holding their water for them. Without me holding their water would be no water. And no water means death. I felt I held so much power.
