Kari Byron Instagram – Throwback to a wild and weird day. @Mythbusters was testing if water is hard as cement if you fall from a great enough height. The episode was strange enough on its own but while we were on location, I was tapped on the shoulder. I turned around and @tomhanks said “Kari! I feel like I know you”. Of course Tom Hanks has a kid that loves science! This is just proof that no matter who you are or where you come from, science is exciting. Also confirms the myth that sometimes you should meet your heroes (and their cool kid). I hope every kid in America checks out @nationalstemfestival #Mythbusters is long over but my love of curiosity and celebrating science together is still strong. Also this is a shameless post hoping this brilliant man helps get the word out. ♥️🤣
