Performing a little snippet of Radha dancing and singing to sounds of nature and the melodious pakhawaj, just when Krishna grabs her attention by playfully holding her hand. Radha is startled at the boldness and charm of her lover, but her eyes say something else as she blushes subtly. Dancing at Nrityadham in the presence of Guru Prerna Deshpande is a blessing. A space for knowledge – devotion – consistency – riyaaz & no excuses. The intricate footwork, assertive eyes, the sharp body movements that can only be delivered with stillness and clarity of mind.
