I also had the privilege of sharing the stage with @unitednations Assistant Secretary-General and UNHCR Assistant High Commissioner for Protection, the brilliant Gillian Triggs. Gillian oversees UNHCR’s protection work in support of millions of refugees, asylum-seekers, and those who have been forcibly displaced within their own country and stateless. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to @danamhughes and @clairecangelle for orchestrating such a remarkable conversation. During the event, I had the privilege of engaging in discussions on crucial topics such as supporting climate refugees, enhancing refugee welfare, amplifying refugee voices, and exploring strategies for representation. One Young World stands as the preeminent global youth leadership Summit, bringing together individuals who shape the future of our world to address humanity’s most pressing challenges.
