This is not a national holiday but it probably should be. As well as building new collections, refreshing older ones and looking after our lovely artists, we have worked hard this year to create a brand new art map for every soho house in the world which members can now download on the SH.APP. We’ve gone one step further for 10 houses and created free printed art maps which members can pick up in reception, these were powered by @porsche .
Each map details every artwork and gives an overview for each collection with a full list of exhibited artists. This is also available for public view on our website too as we recognize the research potential it holds. It’s just the start of making this 8000 strong and counting collection more available.
To some this is pure geekery. To me this is the sexiest project we have done all year … more art more of the time please.
