Kiana Madeira Instagram – On this island, God told us to rest. Our itinerary took a turn as the fog rolled in and the rain poured down and it was exactly what we needed. The bible says to “be still and know that I am God” and in this stillness, I am unafraid. When I am given the time to slow down and breathe and listen to the wind, the birds, the ocean- I am filled with a confidence that I am exactly where I am meant to be. The chaos of the world can make our minds feel so loud. And sometimes God makes it so that we have nothing else to do but stay still and seek Him. It’s in these moments that we will know true peace.
