I never feel my character on the first day of shoot. No amount of prep or thinking helps. When I sit in the makeup chair on Day 1, I feel like an imposter. It’s the people around who believe I am that name on the door of the vanity van.
With Habiba, it was no different. Armed with a brilliant arc thanks to @rensildsilva @filmwaalasam @chaitanya.chopra and the right words and rhythm gifted by @abbasdalal @hussain.dalal , I arrived on set with gratitude towards @castingbay knowing very well, I wasn’t her yet. It’s the conviction and talent of a great team that sails you through. Things you do everyday become a ritual and somewhere along the way you become the person.
