Laverne Cox Instagram – Ok this week’s diary entry of my podcast is definitely one of the most vulnerable for me. I delve into my voice, my speaking voice but mostly my singing voice. My entire life I’ve been told I can’t sing, to shut up. I’m probably even more insanely critical of my own singing than anyone else could be. Yet I still sing. I recently have released music, operatic music. Singing opera with not a lot of natural ability or the best ear is mostly frustrating, hard, anxiety inducingq. But there are moments when it feels truly glorious in my body. And it brings me tremendous joy.
