In reality, having a platform has very little to do with finding your true, authentic voice. Those with the strongest voices are often not the ones who are the most visible. You don’t have to be eloquent or elected to find your voice. It’s not about how smart you are, it’s about how committed you are to answering the questions will you show up, stand up, and speak up for what you believe in ? It’s not about who has the biggest bullhorn. In small ways and big , we get to stand for something everyday. The best way to honor our voice is to keep our promises to ourselves and others.
