Michelle Krusiec Instagram – Thank you @woodstockfilmfestival for an event filled weekend including a loudly cheering audience for Nian. I watched the mind blowing film INVISIBLE NATION (more on that in a separate post) directed by gifted storyteller @vhopeful. Met award winning filmmaker @brewsterjoe, Nian played alongside his film Black Girls Play also directed by Michele Stephenson. Met father of indie filmmaking Victor Nunez whose film Rachel Hendrix starring Lori Singer won best narrative. And I love when I get to hang with programmers like Amanda Naseem. Our film Nian was nominated for the Mark Braunstein Maverick Award 🙏thanks Charlee Liebskind, Meira Blaustein for the recognition. The awards ceremony honored James Ivory who is 95 and won an Oscar at the age of 87! So moving.
