It is clear to me that now is the time for us to recognize the opportunity to create something new, and to defy the urges of passing on the hurt. I’m grateful for this app in many ways, as I’ve learned so much. I’m also feeling the limitations- If we cannot process and alchemize our shame, I don’t know how the technology of social media will be useful in the long run. Praying for the Palestinian people and for the Isreali hostages. Praying for all of us- and praying we can be more willing to let go of our certainty, and to open up to the unknown. Mary Oliver stated wisely: “Let me keep my distance, always, from those who think they have the answers.” This message will probably anger someone, will probably comfort another. I am just one human with my limited perspective. I surrender to that.
