Miranda Frigon Instagram – Sometimes I work so hard to make things go the way I want them to. Then when they aren’t moving in that direction, I’m not okay. So I work harder, thinking that’s the answer. Then when it STILL doesn’t go my way, I feel even more alone and disconnected. Things being hard feels comfortable for me. Sometimes it feels like if life isn’t difficult then I must not be working hard enough. Deep down I know this isn’t the truth. This week has been a bit of a struggle. I say that not to get sympathy but to share my experience so anyone struggling too can relate. I’m reminding myself today that I don’t have control of everything. Surrendering is the word I’m focusing on in this moment and I’m going to choose to believe that a power so much greater than me, truly has my back. I’ve put out into the universe what I want and that power either has a different timing for me or it has something better in store.
