Nandita Das Instagram – I’m happy to share for those who may not know that in 2010 I narrated an audiobook, based on “The Story of my Experiments with Truth” by MK Gandhi. This was one of the cherished books in my early years.
No one needs to be put on a pedestal but neither do they need to be dismissed without knowing enough about their contribution and commitment for a larger good. My mother comes from a Gandhian family. Both her parents were freedom fighters and having grown up with many stories of that struggle, I may have reasons to feel this way!
