Neetu Chandra Instagram – Last evening was overwhelming and Heart touching. Met my dearest friend @smritimundhra lovely @ChandraMundhra and Smriti s little angel daughter Isabel after years, Isabel in particular… held her when she was tiny 1year old in my arms and then yesterday when she is 6 now. So proud that Smriti found soooo many fans in India through her extraordinary work on Netflix s original reality show..as a creator of INDIAN MATCHMAKING then ROMANTIC. In 2020 she was nominated at Oscar’s for the Best Documentary short of her film St. Louis Superman. My association with Smriti is through Director Jagmohan Mundhra sir, whose last film was APARTMENT and I was the lead. Jag sir was a guide, a philosopher, a father figure for me, especially after I lost my father.. Jag sir use to tell me stories of Smriti s childhood and how he was so proud in everything Smriti does… Today, wherever you are, you must be witnessing your predictions Jag sir.. we all are so proud of her too.. A sister to me with so much warmth and care. Chandra Ji, Jag sir s wife, Smriti s mother.. a mother figure to me, a friend, my guardian in Los Angeles and a perfect picture of calmness, smile, warmth n humanity… Ever you ask her.. HOW ARE YOU CHANDRA JI, SHE WILL SAY, “I AM PERFECT,” yes, INDEED.. YOU ARE ❤️🤗 Since we both are Chandra, people generally think she is my mother.. Love you Chandra Ji.
