Pam Tillis Instagram – 23 years ago today, I joined the @opry, with Little Jimmy Dickens extending the invitation and @martystuart doing the induction. I’ve made memories I’ll cherish long after I’ve passed the torch to someone else and stepped away from the life of a performer. Until that time, whenever I’m on the road I extend a personal invitation to the audience if they haven’t been. How many times have l stood in the circle thinking (in the words of our precious, legendary family friend Minnie Pearl) and thought “I’m just so proud to be here!” These past 23 years as part of the Opry family have been truly amazing!
